1. Understand that you are a sinner, separated from God. Romans 3:10, 23

2. Understand that eternal death is the penalty for your sins. Romans 5:12

3. Understand God's gift of salvation. Romans 6:23

4. Understand that God love you and wants to give you this gift. Romans 5:8

5. Understand that you need to receive this gift by calling upon Jesus to forgive you of your sins and to save you. Romans 10:9-13

If you would like to be saved, you can pray from your heart a prayer such as the follwing:

"Dear God, I understand that I am a sinner separated from you and bound for hell. I realize now that You love me, and that Jesus died for me and took my sins upon Himself on the cross at Calvary. I ask you to forgive me of all my sins and save me, so that I may live with you forever. In Jesus' Name I pray. Amen."
